Sumteo Free Beta Terms Draft

These Terms govern the free beta of 숨터(Sumteo), referred to as “Sumteo,” and the rights and duties of Sumteo and its users. Off-chain records are stored outside a blockchain; on-chain records are submitted to a public blockchain such as Solana.

If a translation conflicts with the Korean document, the Korean document controls.

Sumteo is currently a free beta. It currently offers no user payment, paid subscription, or paid digital product. Features and availability may change or end during testing.

Before introducing a paid feature, Sumteo will disclose the actual price, payment, cancellation, refund, recurring-payment, and related privacy terms that apply.

Only users aged 14 or older may use Sumteo. Sumteo has no guardian-consent process for children under 14.

Privy provides sign-in and embedded Solana wallet creation. Users must protect authentication methods and must not share codes, sessions, or private keys.

A wallet export flow is available in supported secure web environments. Loss of authentication or wallet access may make the account or public-network assets unrecoverable; Sumteo does not guarantee private-key recovery.

Reading time, pages, completion, impressions, quiz results, and reward eligibility are not final merely because they appear on screen. The server may validate and correct records using authenticated account, stored progress, quiz scoring, and duplicate or abnormal-request checks.

Users retain their rights in nicknames, impressions, quotes, feedback, quiz answers, and other content they create.

Users grant Sumteo a limited, non-exclusive license needed to store, transmit, format, and display content within the selected visibility. Copies already received by others or a public network may not be immediately recallable.

Users must not:

• bypass authentication or use unauthorized automation;
• manipulate reading, quiz, reward, or campaign results;
• abuse the service or evade security controls;
• impersonate another person or use another account or wallet;
• submit unlawful, abusive, privacy-invasive, or infringing content; or
• distribute malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or endanger the service or users.

Friends, follows, shared impressions, and the real-time world may display content and presence according to visibility choices.

AI features are provided only when the relevant operational gates and product disclosures are in place and the feature is enabled. AI-generated quizzes or translations may contain errors, omissions, bias, or inaccuracies and should be treated as reference material.

Only after minting is enabled and a user requests it may a public wallet, transaction, book or completion information, and user-selected public content or metadata be submitted to Solana and related public networks.

The mint action must separately confirm the public fields and deletion limits. Public-network records may be copied and may remain beyond account deletion where Sumteo cannot alter or erase them.

cNFTs, points, badges, and rewards are not investments and do not promise cash value, exchange, transferability, a market, or profit.

Campaign-specific periods, eligibility, quantities, and distribution times may apply. Server records determine eligibility, and abuse, duplicate participation, or technical error may lead to a proportionate hold, cancellation, or correction.

Sumteo may change, maintain, suspend, or end all or part of the beta for security, incidents, maintenance, provider changes, legal compliance, or testing. Foreseeable material interruptions will be announced where reasonably possible.

A verified Terms breach, security risk, rights infringement, abuse, or lawful request may lead to proportionate restrictions on content, social features, rewards, or account access. Questions may be sent to the public email address.

An in-app deletion request restricts account access and profile display. The request can be cancelled by signing in with the same Privy account within 30 days. After recovery ends, the server deletion job attempts to purge off-chain account data and delete the Privy user.

The 30-day recovery policy is an account feature and is not treated as identical to a privacy deletion request. Privacy rights may be exercised separately in the app or by email. Public-network and limited mint-recovery records may have deletion limits.

Rights in Sumteo software, screens, logo, and brand belong to the operator or applicable rights holders. Rights in book covers, titles, authors, descriptions, and bibliographic data remain with their respective holders.

The free beta may experience errors, interruption, delayed records, or third-party outages. Sumteo uses reasonable care to improve confirmed issues.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including the operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or makes users waive statutory rights.

Korean law governs these Terms. Statutory jurisdiction rules that protect users apply.

Sumteo announces changes and their effective date through an accessible service channel. Material contract changes may require renewed acceptance before applying.

A processing change that legally requires separate consent receives separate consent. Corrections to typos, contacts, or business information do not automatically require every user to accept the Terms again.
